73 Marine Life at Freshwater Bay

After competeing out testing at Freshwater Bay, we decided to check what typical for marine life.  We found many crabs under rocks and sea stars, tunicates, snails, barnacles and chitons on the rocks.  The picture shows an ochre star (left) with tunicates hanging on the right side.  Many snails were also on this rock.  Such a change from the “dead zone” in front of the dump wall.
